We are excited to begin to get back to normal, and one activity that was noticeably absent was our carry-in meals. So, next Sunday for Founders Day, we will have a carry-in luncheon after Meeting for Worship.

Our guest speaker for for Founders Day in our 268th year is Dr. Robert Shackleford, retired President of RCC.

Join us for a “Soup”-er Spookier Fall Festival Trunk-or-Treat! Trunk decorating will start at 4:30 pm.

Deep River Friends Yard Sale – Community Yard Sale to feed the hungry will be Sunday, Oct. 8 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Celebration of Life for Bruce Idol will be tomorrow, Saturday, September 17th, at 1PM. After the service, there will be a reception in the Fellowship Hall where the family will receive friends.

You are invited to celebrate the 80th birthdays of Roger and Chi Chi Thornton on Saturday, September 10th from 5-7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

The funeral service for Philip Beck will be held at Deep River Friends Meeting on Wednesday, August 24, at noon.
