A big “thanks” to everyone that has donated to our “Helping Houston” fund.

The Missions Committee will be sponsoring an Ice Cream Social next Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

The CADRE Group (College Age Deep River Encouragers) is looking for a few more folks to “adopt” a college student.

Scott will lead a Disciple Bible Study which will be 24 weeks.

Sat., Sept. 9, is the Fall Chicken Pie Day at Deep River Friends.

The next Couple’s Tune Up will be Thursday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. at the home of Ray and Jan Meadows.

Monthly Meeting has approved for Scott to lead a service/learning trip to Belize to help work on the Belize Friends School.

NC USFW Annual Gathering will be held Sept. 16 at Springfield Meeting in High Point.

Jessica Jones and Matthew Christy invite you to witness their vows as they begin their journey together on Sat., Aug. 26 at 2 p.m.
