Basics in Quakerism

Basics in Quakerism classes to begin March 5th and March 9th. The class will span 6 weeks and will be taught by Philip Raines on Wednesdays at 7:00pm and Sundays at 10:00am. Any questions please contact the Meeting office at 336-454-1928.

Bat Box Build

The Deep River Friends Christian Education and Missions Committees are teaming up with our very talented Dwight Osborne to build Bat Boxes!

Family Night

Our first Family Night will be January 18th beginning at 6:00pm. It will feature a program by our Friend and member, Gaither Frye. We will also partake in a selec-tion of soup and sandwiches. Please save the date.

Staff Love Offering

We would like to show our appreciation to our wonderful staff this Christmas for helping us through another year. If you’d like to contribute to a love offering to be shared among them, please make your contribution through our website and select “Staff Love Offering” under the “Choose Fund” dropdown.

Both lists will be updated frequently. All gift cards should be given to Kat or Ruth. All gift should be in the Fellowship Hall by 12/20. Please call Kat at 484-883-5506 for information.

Founders Day Celebration

The annual Founders Day is Sunday, November 10th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The theme for our 270th year is “A Path to Founders Day 300: 2054 “. Our guest speaker will be Wess Daniels of Friends Center at Guilford. There will be a ‘carry-in” luncheon at the Rise of Service.
