David Smith is organizing a “Letter Writing Fellowship” for this Saturday, August 24th, from 1-2:00p.m. for anyone interested in writing letters to their Federal Representatives and Senators. These letters will be gathered up and delivered in personal visits to the offices of Rep. Ted Budd and Senators Burr and Tillis. The purpose for this is a response to the recent continuation of violence in our country but folks can write letters regarding any issue of concern. This will be a supportive fellowship and space for Friends and neighbors to write what they feel led to write and will be a conduit for them to pass their letters directly on to members of Congress.
