Summer is upon us and with folks traveling our schedule at Deep River Friends slows down (ie, meetings, etc). Even with that, we want to remind you and update you on some areas:
- Meeting room now has new air conditioning, We’re grateful to our Trustees for helping to make this happen.
- We are in the process of refurbishing our Infant and Toddler Nurseries. In the coming weeks, you’ll see a new and fresh look.
- In the Summer months, our giving tends to lag but our expenses continue. Don’t forget Deep River Friends and, if possible, you can give online or mail in your contribution.
- We’re grateful for those that offer their volunteer time to keep our facilities functioning and beautiful. We’re particularly grateful to those who keep our grounds looking good: Tommy Hardin, Bobbie Hardin, Dan Moran, Dwight Osborne, and Joe Huff. Thanks to Patrick Ellington for cleaning the shelter and tables.
